ABERDEEN – Brian Robinson of Potts Camp was sentenced today to 60 years in federal prison on child sex image charges.
Robinson, 30, was indicted in March 2011 on five counts that he coerced a minor to help him make sexually explicit images for transportation across state lines.
He pleaded guilty on Jan. 11 to three counts, in the face of up to 110 years in prison on all the charges.
Today, U.S. District Judge Sharion Aycock sentenced him to 30 years for using a minor to create sex images, 20 years for transmitting them and 10 years for possessing the images on his computer.
He will serve his sentences consecutively, which adds up to the 60 years.
The U.S. Bureau of Prisons will determine where he serves the time.
