WEST POINT — Bobby Randle is stepping down after nearly 13 years as the Clay County jail administrator.

WCBI TV reports Randle got his first law enforcement job as a reserve deputy nearly 20 years ago.

He will still be head of courthouse security for the sheriff’s department.

Former Sheriff Laddie Huffman has been appointed as the interim jail administrator until the job is filled permanently.
