Jasmine Murray was sent home on Wednesday’s “American Idol.”
Murray, 17, performed on the singing competition Tuesday as a part of the show’s Top 13. She sang the Jackson 5 classic “I’ll Be There” and received mixed reviews from judges Simon Cowell, Kara DioGuardi, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson.
Murray did not receive enough of America’s votes to make it to the next round.
Murray first impressed the judges at her Jacksonville, Fla., audition, and was voted off the show when she was a part of the Top 36. The judges brought her back last week as a wild card contestant.
