Community meeting will focus on Internet service

HOUSTON – A community meeting to gather public input to develop broadband technology in the Houston area will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Houston Civic Center.
The purpose is to increase awareness and understanding of a high-speed Internet recommendation developed by the Mississippi Broadband Connect Coalition that will be used to help increase the availability, adoption and access of broadband.
The discussion is designed to gather feedback from the community to better ensure the plan reflects unique local needs and issues.
