TUPELO – Tupelo’s Bike-to-Work Day has been rescheduled to Monday because of concerns about today’s weather.
Tupelo senior planner Renee Autumn Ray said the city and several sponsors will offer a free breakfast Monday for bicyclists from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the city parking lot next to the Community Development Foundation on Main Street.
The Tupelo Convention and Visitors Bureau will offer shuttle services people who live too far away to bike to work. Cyclists can park their vehicles at Rob Leake City Park at 1107 Joyner Ave. and bike to the breakfast. The CVB will offer a free shuttle back to the park at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. For more information about the shuttle, call (662) 841-6521.
