JACKSON — The conditions of two students injured in a school bus crash this week in Winona have improved.
University of Mississippi Medical Center officials say the two students are now listed in serious condition. They were listed as critical after being brought to the hospital Friday.
In all, 20 students were injured Friday when their school bus collided with an empty log truck in Winona.
Seven students were transported to UMMC. Of those, four are still being treated. Two other patients are listed in fair condition.
UMMC officials say two students were discharged Friday and one student was discharged Saturday.
Other students were treated at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital in Winona. None of those injuries was life threatening.
Winona police say the accident is being investigated.
