Congressman Nunnelee hospitalized after scan

Daily Journal

TUPELO – Congressman Alan Nunnelee, R-Miss., was hospitalized on Thursday with a suspicious spot on his brain.

The 1st District leader said in a release he began feeling nausea and fatigue on Wednesday afternoon and was sent to the hospital.

“After undergoing an MRI scan, doctors found a small abnormality on the right side of my brain,” he said. “I am in good spirits, and I hope to be released from the hospital in the next day or two. My family and I appreciate the prayers, support, and well-wishes we have received.”

The second-term Nunnelee serves on the House Appropriations Committee and the House Budget Committee.

Cut & Paste Nunelee has a “… small abnormality… ” – perhaps it’s just what remains of independent thought after parroting for the party of NO for so long.

What scalds me is that wonderful health insurance plan, afforded to all members of Congress, that will pay his medical bills. If it’s good for you, Congressman, why isn’t it good for the people you represent?

Perhaps it has something to do with that lesion on the RIGHT side of his brain.

I’m surprised they found a brain instead of the rotted out stump of what used to be. saying on the news that he’s going to be back to help with the cleanup. really…does that mean just wandering around talking to those who lost a lot and having pics snapped for newpapers? because the doctors are going to tell him to not do any stressful or heavy lifting at risk of putting strain on the tumor.
