Lee Sheriff’s Department

A County Road 598 resident reported a break-in and the theft of a Direct TV access card and a jar of change.

– A County Road 51 resident reported being assaulted in her home.

– A Raymond Avenue, Verona, resident reported the theft of five porcelain dolls, three baby dolls, two Walt Disney snow globes, a model car and a box of wedding items from her mother’s house.

– Kirby’s BP No. 3 on County Road 931 reported a gas drive-off and the theft of $16.50 in gas.

– A County Road 51 resident reported a gun was fired into her home.

– An East Bristow Street, Tupelo, resident reported a friend failed to return his pickup after borrowing it to go to the store.

– A Drive 1700 resident reported receiving several threatening phone calls at his place of employment from his former girlfriend.

– A Calvert Drive, Tupelo, resident reported a brick was thrown through her car window.

– A Mount Vernon Road resident reported a bounty hunter entered her home without her permission while she was sleeping.

– A Highway 371 resident reported being assaulted in his home.

– A County Road 31 resident reported being assaulted.

– A Nettleton resident reported being harassed.

– A County Road 2176 resident reported the theft of a pickup and a four-wheeler. Pickup was found burned in Union County. Four-wheeler has not been recovered.

– A County Road 1349 resident reported a family disturbance.

– Kirby’s BP No. 15 at Palmetto reported a gas drive-off and the theft of $9.52 in gas.

– A County Road 833 resident reported a break-in and the theft of a television, a surround sound system, a DVD player and a laptop computer.

– A Highway 6 South resident reported the theft of a purse from the home.

Felony Arrests

The following people were arrested during a 24-hour period ending at 5 p.m. Monday.

Lee County – Tupelo Adult Jail

– Daniel Spurr, 18, of 1570 County Road 814 in Plantersville, is charged by the Tupelo Police Department with possession of ammonia. Bond has not been set.

– Joel Mahaftey, 21, of 3260 Hwy. 145 in Tupelo, is charged by the TPD with possession of ammonia. Bond has not been set.

– Joshua Parker, 21, of 171 County Road 736 in Plantersville, is charged by the TPD with possession of ammonia. Bond has not been set.

– Billy Zinn, 35, of 1824 Blair ridge Road in Tupelo, is charged by the TPD with felony driving under the influence. Bond has not been set.

Verona City Jail

– No felony arrests were reported.
