Corinth Area CVB to interview executive director candidates

By NEMS Daily Journal

CORINTH – Six candidates from a pool of 31 applicants for the job as executive director of the Corinth Area Convention and Visitors Bureau have been selected as finalists to be interviewed.
The Corinth Area CVB board will interview those candidates Thursday, with the expectation of having someone in the position within a few weeks, said CACVB board chairmen Luke Doehner.
The CACVB has functioned without an executive director since mid-January, when Kristy White resigned after the previous board of directors was dismissed by the Alcorn County Board of Supervisors and the Corinth Board of Aldermen.
Former CACVB communications director Anne Thompson has been working in the office as administrator while the transition is under way from the previous executive director to the next appointee.
