Corinth businessman Bryant dies at 82

CORINTH – Max D. Bryant, chairman and CEO of Ayrshire Electronics
in Corinth, died Wednesay in Louisville, Ky., after a brief illness.
Bryant was 82.
Former Gov. Haley Barbour applauded Bryant when he bought the former ACT Electronics plant in late 2008, saving 200 skilled jobs.
Louisville-based Ayrshire Electronics employs more than 600 with divisions
in Corinth; Harrodsburg, Ky.; Fayetteville, Ark.; Oakdale, Minn.; Reynosa, Mexico; and Taipei, Taiwan.
