CORINTH — A series of drainage projects is under way in flood-prone areas of Corinth.
The Daily Corinthian reports one project is being completed on Alcorn Drive, where street flooding has been a problem for offices in the area.
The city and its engineers are studying several other projects, including the use of underground detention tanks in the area where Hickory Road splits.
The city is also considering an Economic Development Administration Disaster Relief Grant for a flood-prevention project.
