CORINTH — A Corinth man has been arrested on charges of possession and sale of marijuana.
The Daily Corinthian reports that Michael Charles Spears, 29, was booked Thursday with sale of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
Sheriff’s investigators say Spears had been under surveillance for suspicion of selling the substance.
Deputies searched his home after obtaining a warrant and say they found about 1.5 pounds of marijuana.
Spears was booked at the Alcorn County jail.
It was not immediately clear whether he has an attorney.
