Corinth police search for suspect in Thursday shooting

CORINTH – Police were still searching Friday morning for a suspect in the shooting of a Corinth man that happened Thursday.
The police have the name of the suspect but have not been able to locate him yet, said Capt. Ralph Dance.
Victim Romeo Miguel was taken to Magnolia Regional Health Center following the incident for treatment of a wound that was not considered to be life-threatening. He was reported by witnesses as trying to break up a fight between two Hispanic men when he was shot by a third person.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his early twenties, and anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Corinth Police Department at (662) 286-3377.
