Corinth police seeking robbery suspect

CORINTH – Corinth police are asking for help in identifying suspects in a Friday night robbery of employees leaving a Dollar General store on South Harper Road.

The robbery happened about 10:30 p.m., said Detective Capt. Ralph Dance.

Two female employees leaving the store were locking up, and a male suspect knocked one to the ground and took the bank bag containing cash.

The suspect ran around to the back of the building and did not show a firearm, Dance said. The general description of the suspect is that he was of average build and wearing black clothing and a ski mask. His race is unknown.

One victim suffered minor bruises and was treated and released at Magnolia Regional Health Center.
