CORINTH – Neither rumors nor call-in leads have led to any breaks in the investigation of the weekend homicide death of a taxi driver, said detective Capt. Ralph Dance.

Cleo L. Henderson, 66, of 1520 Bunch St., Corinth, was found dead of a gunshot wound about 2:30 a.m. Sunday outside the Liberty Cab stand at 303 Taylor Street, where he worked.

Police have followed up on each tip they’ve received with no concrete results, Dance said.

They are still asking for anyone with information that could be helpful in the case to call in, Dance said. Investigators also are awaiting results of materials sent to the state crime lab, as well as autopsy results.

The Corinth Police Department can be reached at (662) 286-3377 and Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi at (800) 773-8477.
