TUPELO – Tupelo City Council will hold a special meeting today at 4 p.m. to discuss moving the polling location of precinct 7 in Ward 4 for upcoming city elections.
On-going renovations at the Tupelo Police Athletic League will cause the voting precinct there to move to the Link Centre, said City Council President Fred Pitts.
The City Council will also hold a work session afterward at 4:15 to discuss the proposed E911 communications agreement with Lee County, North Mississippi Medical Center and other municipalities.
The E911 communications board had proposed a three-year agreement, while City Council members preferred a one-year term.
