Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi Inc. needs help in solving an armed robbery that occurred two weeks ago at The Uniform Shop in Tupelo.

Shortly before noon Tuesday, Jan. 30, a man entered the business on Harrison Street and asked the clerk for a stethoscope that was behind her. When the clerk turned back around and faced the man, he was pointing a weapon at her. The suspect then took the woman to a back room, where he tied her up with her belt and demanded money. The suspect took some money and credit cards from the clerk’s purse and from the store’s cash register.

The suspect is described as a white male, between 30 to 35 years old. He stands about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 220 pounds. The man had medium length sandy brown hair. He was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt and faded blue jeans.
