Crime Stoppers reward offered in burglary case

OXFORD – Lafayette County law enforcement authorities are asking the public for leads regarding burglaries in the College Hill area on Aug. 8.

The break-in of a commercial building resulted in the theft of a large amount of music equipment, according to Lafayette County Sheriff’s Investigator Alan Wilburn. Handguns were taken during three vehicle burglaries the same day.

A Crime Stoppers reward of up to $2,000 has been authorized for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for these crimes.
