CORINTH – Alcorn supervisors on Monday approved a settlement agreement for return of $34,678 to the Crossroads Arena.
The agreement will be returned to the Mississippi Auditor’s Office, which negotiated with bonding company Travelers Casualty and Surety Co. to recoup funds demanded from former Crossroads Arena manager Reggie Churchwell.
State Auditor Stacey Pickering sent a formal demand letter to Churchwell on Oct. 20, 2011, in the amount of $34,678.29, which the auditor’s office had determined was missing from Crossroads Arena accounts.
Churchwell left his position as general manager of the arena in August 2009.
