Daily Journal takes several honors at Louisiana-Mississippi APME Newspaper Awards

OXFORD — The Louisiana-Mississippi Associated Press Managing Editors on Saturday announced the winners of its annual writing, photo and digital contest for news stories, editorials, photos, graphics and headlines published during 2012 in Louisiana and Mississippi AP member newspapers.

The awards were presented during ceremonies at the University of Mississippi.

The contest was judged by AP member newspaper editors in Utah, Washington and Idaho.
