ABERDEEN – The state of Mississippi finished presenting its case against David Parvin on Thursday afternoon, concluding with witnesses from the Mississippi State Crime Lab and members of Parvin’s family.
Parvin’s attorney will begin presenting his side of the case and calling witnesses Friday morning.
The jury is tasked with deciding if Parvin’s Oct. 15, 2007 shooting of his wife Joyce Parvin was accidental or intentional.
Monroe County Circuit Court Judge Paul Funderburk told potential jurors during jury selection they could expect to hear closing arguments early next week.
