IUKA – For the second consecutive month, the Tishomingo County Electric Power Association board postponed a discussion and resolution of a more than $18,000 bill for a county business.

Pattie Ferguson, owner of Pattie’s One Stop in Tishomingo, attended the meeting for the second time.

Presiding officer Gerald Barnes said board President Jimmy Marlin, who is recovering from surgery, asked that the discussion and vote again be postponed so he can be present.

In early December, Ferguson said TCEPA General Manager Robert Grisham presented her with a power bill of $18,617, which he said resulted from more than two years of underbilling. Ferguson has asked that the billing be reviewed and reconsidered for payment.
