Dixon accepts Senior Bowl invite; Chaney candidate, too

MOBILE, Ala. – Mississippi State’s all-time leading rusher, Anthony Dixon, has accepted an invitation to play in the Under Armour Senior Bowl.
Dixon, who led the SEC with 126.5 rushing yards per game – more than Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram of Alabama – will show off his wares for NFL scouts in the Jan. 30 game, to be played at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
“I’m constantly working to become the best back in the country, and I hope to prove that when I get to Mobile,” Dixon said.
Senior Bowl President and CEO Steve Hale said that MSU linebacker Jamar Chaney is also a candidate for selection.
MSU safety Derek Pegues played in the game last year.
