n Crow’s Neck Environmental Education Center in Tishomingo will host two sessions of the National Military Family Association Operation Purple Camp in June. The camp is free to all children (ages 7-15 years) of United States military personnel, with priority given to those slated for deployment. n The 2009 NEON Summer Health Career Academies for sixth- and seventh-graders in the Northeast Mississippi Community College school district (Alcorn, Prentiss, Tippah, Tishomingo and Union counties) will be held at the Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth and North Mississippi Medical Center-Iuka from June 8-12 and at the Baptist Memorial Hospitals in Booneville and New Albany and the Tippah County Hospital in Ripley from June 15-19.
