HOLLY SPRINGS – Marshall County Sheriff Kenny Dickerson says the pursuit of Xavier Cornelius Parks is over.
Parks, a resident of Saulsbury, Tennessee, had been sought by law enforcement since he was charged May 18 with the kidnapping and aggravated assault of Charles Hardeman which occurred on April 11 in Marshall County.
Parks was arrested without incident Tuesday in Chicago, Ill., by Special Agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and members of the Chicago FBI’s Safe Streets Task Force.
Sheriff Dickerson thanks the Southaven and Oxford offices of the FBI, the U.S. Marshals Service, the Hardeman County Tennessee Sheriff’s Department and investigators of the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department for the hard work which led to the capture of Parks.
