TUPELO – The Lee County Family Resource Center is hosting an open house today to kick off Child Abuse Awareness Month.
Anyone interested is encouraged to stop by and learn about services offered by the center at 428 Magazine St. from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Some services include parenting classes, crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, anger management, marriage/healthy relationship education, speech therapy, computer check-out services, resource library and the Children in the Middle Program.
They also offer forensic interviews, therapy advocacy and support services for children and non-offending caregivers who have been affected by sexual and physical abuse.
