Firemen put out blaze at Flexible Foam Products in Tupelo

By NEMS Daily Journal

The Tupelo Fire Department put out a blaze Friday night at Flexible Foam Products, Inc. on South Veterans Boulevard.

There was no structural damage to the business. The fire was inside the building and fire department officials said it was too early to tell if there was any smoke damage.

Tupelo Fire Operations Chief Jimmy Avery said the call came in at 8:30 p.m. and the fire was out almost an hour later.

Flexible Foam makes foam for furniture companies.

No one was injured at the building or while putting out the fire. No employees were working in the building when the fire started.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
