PRENTISS COUNTY – The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating a car crash that hospitalized four people Monday night.
Ray Hall, Public Affairs Officer for Highway Patrol Troop F, said troopers on the scene reported a teen driver was traveling west on County Road 8051 in Prentiss County in a 1991 GMC truck.
The teen attempted to pull across Highway 45 and pulled into the path of a south bound 2006 Crown Vic driven by a Selmer, Tenn. woman.
The woman, 29, and her daughter were taken to the North Mississippi Medical Center. The woman’s teen aged son was taken by helicopter to Le Bonheur in Memphis where he remains in critical condition.
The driver of the truck was taken to the Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Corinth where hew as treated and released.
