BILOXI — Laissez les bon temps rouler, y’all.
Four Mardi Gras parades were rolling across the Mississippi Gulf Coast on Fat Tuesday.
The Krewe of Diamonds rolls through Bay St. Louis at 1 p.m.
At the same time, South Mississippi’s largest parade — the Gulf Coast Carnival Association Parade — will take to the streets in Biloxi, followed by Neptune at 3 p.m.
The last parade of Mississippi’s Carnival season starts at 6:30 p.m., when the Krewe of Gemini rolls through downtown Gulfport. Traditionally, Gemini has two parades, but Saturday’s got washed out.
Organizers pushed back the start of Tuesday’s Gulfport parade one hour, so floats in other parades can make it back to the Gemini parade route.
