VICKSBURG – Vicksburg police say four people were robbed at gunpoint within hours of each other in the city.
Police Sgt. Sandra Williams said the first of the Thursday robberies was reported at 2:19 a.m. in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant.
A bicycle rider was robbed about an hour later by an armed gunman. Shortly after that, a man walking from a hotel to an all-night restaurant was held up by a man with a gun, who chased the victim into the restaurant and robbed a woman before running away.
Williams said investigators were trying to determine whether the incidents were related.
