TUPELO – There’s still room for Friday’s free Tupelo Symphony Orchestra children’s concert.
Seats are available for the 11 a.m. performance, and they’re open to students from second to sixth grade in public or private schools, as well as home-schooled students.
“The concert is called ‘Symphonic Storytelling,’” said Steven Byess, TSO musical director. “The theme of the concert is identifying ways that music can create feelings or tell a story or create an atmosphere.”
To reserve a place at the concert, e-mail Lynne Mize at firstname.lastname@example.org. Call her at (662) 841-8900 during the day or 842-5605 after 5:30 p.m.
