SHILOH, Tenn. – A series of children’s day camps at various locations on Shiloh battlefields are offered 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday through Friday.
Geared toward children ages 9-11 years old, the free outdoor camps will explore the park’s 800-year-old Native American mound complex, teach children to become stewards of the land, and end with “School of the Soldier”, a Civil War camp.
Camps will be located outdoors, so children need to come prepared to stay outside by bringing water, snacks, bug spray, sunscreen and wearing comfortable clothing for outdoor activities.
Space is limited so registration is required by calling (731) 689-5696.
