HOUSTON – After eluding police for four months, a Lee County man wanted in connection with a drug case was caught in Chickasaw County on Wednesday.
Acting on a tip, law enforcement found Jason Scott Galloway, 32, of Shannon at a friend’s Houlka residence. Galloway was wanted for possession of precursors with intent to manufacture methamphetamine and felony fleeing.
According to the state Bureau of Narcotics, a search of the friend’s home turned up a small amount of methamphetamine along with meth precursor chemicals. Agents charged Galloway with possession of methamphetamine and possession of two or more precursors with intent to manufacture methamphetamine.
Galloway was still in the Chickasaw County jail Thursday.
