Fulton teen attacked by pit bull

A Fulton teen has been reportedly bitten by his family’s pit bull, according to authorities.

According to Itawamba County Sheriff Chris Dickinson, the 13-year-old son of John Rankin Highway resident Chris Timms was bitten on the leg by the family pit bull a little before 2 p.m. Thursday afternoon. The teen was reportedly helping fill a swimming pool when the animal attacked. The reason for the attack is unknown at this time. The boy suffered minor injuries.
