n AMORY – First United Methodist Church’s Sunday morning traditional worship on Channel 11 at 11 a.m. Sundays, 7 p.m. Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays and at 8 p.m. on Wednesdays. Sunday evening worship is replayed at 6:30 p.m. Thursdays.
Mission Mississippi
holds prayer meetings
n AMORY – Mission Mississippi is a movement to break down racial barriers through the establishment of Christian relationships. Weekly prayer fellowship is held from 8-9 a.m. each Saturday morning and at 6 p.m. on the fifth Sunday. On Saturday, May 16, it will meet at First Baptist Church. n AMORY – First United Methodist Church offers a soup kitchen in the church gym at 11:45 a.m. each Thursday for anyone who wishes to eat. All are welcome.
Dance and song workshop
n ABERDEEN – amp”Gatekeepers of Praiseamp” announces its first dance workshop and song intensive to be held May 15-16. Revival starts May 15

Youth Explosion May 30
n ABERDEEN – The Youth Department at Crossroad MB Church is hosting a Youth Explosion on Saturday, May 30, at Morgan’s Landing Park and Recreation area in Aberdeen. Registration is from 10-11 a.m. with devotion from 11-11:30, followed by performances, basketball and games until 3 p.m., when a softball game will be held. Awards and recognition will be at 5. All praise teams, choirs, groups, soloists, softball, baseball and basketball teams are invited.
