TUPELO – The Tupelo/Lee County Chapter of Mission Mississippi will observe the National Day of Prayer on Thursday with a “Time of Prayer and Fasting.”
The event will begin at 7 a.m. at the BancorpSouth Arena. Various community leaders will conduct prayers for our federal, state, and city officials, schools and churches, military and first responders, and the nation. The event is free and open for everyone.
The American Family Association will hold a prayer service at noon on Thursday outside of City Hall. The Revs. Tony Herford and Chad Grayson will pray over local, state and national governments, and music will be featured by a praise band made up of AFA members.
