GULFPORT – The city of Gulfport hopes to reach some truce with Biloxi on issues of annexation and end years of litigation and mounting legal bills.
Biloxi and Gulfport have been battling over the same territory for several years, especially along the new Mississippi Highway 605 corridor.
Council President Ricky Dombrowski said the two cities should negotiate their paths of growth rather than fight.
Biloxi Council President Clark Griffith said discussions might be good for both cities.
Harrison County attorney Tim Holleman said he hopes the county can also work with both cities.
