HealthWorks! celebrates third year

TUPELO – Three will be the magic number at HealthWorks! on Saturday.
“It’s all about 3’s since it’s our third birthday,” said Emily Guyton, a high flying kid motivator at the Tupelo children’s health education center.
In addition to the everyday health fun, there will be Three Musketeer Fencing, complete with pool noodles and fake mustaches, Three Blind Mice and Three Strikes and You’re Out.
In Take 3 Karaoke, participants will use songs that prominently feature “three.”
“You can win a HealthWorks! birthday party,” Guyton said. Costumes and choreography are encouraged, but not required.
Admission will be $3 instead of the regular $5 in honor of the big day.
In addition to the games, there will be HealthWorks! tattoos, hats, face painting and a snack demonstration.
Kids also will be able to sign their classes up for a chance to win a HealthWorks! field trip.
