TUPELO – Cheryl Pine’s Thursday re-arraignment was postponed on attempted murder charges.
According to the circuit clerk’s office, staff was late in getting the recent Lee County grand jury indictments list and all pleas were rescheduled for Oct. 26.
Pine’s hearing apparently will be among those.
The Tupelo real estate agent pleaded not guilty to earlier charges she conspired to have her husband killed. She’s been out on bond since then.
But the district attorney’s office decided to make some technical adjustments to its charges, and she was re-indicted.
The Oct. 26 hearing will be her opportunity to enter a plea to the new indictment.
