Hearing Thursday on child porn charges

By NEMS Daily Journal

OXFORD – Brian Robinson of Potts Camp is set to hear formal charges against him on five federal counts related to child pornography.
Robinson, 30, was indicted March 23 and faces up to 60 years in prison and $750,000 in fines if he’s convicted on all charges.
He is accused of enticing a minor to be depicted in sexually explicit acts intended for interstate commerce, of transporting those images using the Internet and of possessing computer devices containing child porn images.
The alleged illegal acts were committed across varying dates from 2008 until March 2011, the indictment claims.
His arraignment is set for Thursday in U.S. District Court in Oxford before Magistrate Judge S. Allan Alexander.
