HED:Aberdeen car ramming bond set at $250,000
ABERDEEN – Bail was set Wednesday at $250,000 for a woman accused of deliberately ramming a car through the front of the Aberdeen Police Department.
Emma Dixon, 37, Aberdeen, was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer and felony destruction of public property during an initial court appearance. She remained in Monroe County Jail following the hearing.
Police said Dixon rammed her car into department headquarters Tuesday morning, just a day after she was arrested on a charge of disturbing the peace.
Dixon reportedly threatened the arresting officer Monday and had threatened officers in past incidents.
No one was injured in Tuesday’s incident.
