HED:Group offers reward in animal abuse cases
In Defense of Animals has posted a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrests and convictions of the people who abused and killed a Tupelo dog and three Grenada kittens.
The reward was issued after a 12-year-old female schnauzer was killed in May in what “police believe was a satanic ritual,” said a news release from In Defense of Animals.
The dog was taken from its yard in west Tupelo and its body was later left near the yard, the news release said.
The kittens belonged to a Grenada woman and they were killed Thursday after someone repeatedly ran over them with a lawn mower, the news release said.
Anyone with information in either of the cases is asked to call In Defense of Animals at (662) 237-4382.
