TUPELO – John Heer has moved into a consulting role for North Mississippi Health Services.

Heer, who last month announced his resignation as president of the hospital system, will remain as a consultant through Aug. 31, 2014.

As NMHS conducts a national search for a new president, a team of system leaders will handle the day-to-day management. Also, Donna Lewis Pritchard has been approved as new interim administrator for North Mississippi Medical Center.

Mike Denham, administrator of surgical services, will take on additional duties as interim chief operating officer of NMMC, while NMHS vice president of human resources Rodger Brown will serve as interim vice president of community hospitals.
