HICKORY FLAT – Federal authorities claim they seized items from an ATV to cigarette rolling papers during a raid on a Hickory Flat man’s property.

The man, Randy Tanner, does not appear to have been charged with anything yet.

An Aug. 20 search and seizure warrant signed by Magistrate Judge David A. Sanders in Aberden approved the search.

FBI Special Agent Greg Knox reported seizing 29 items from the property at 715 Ranch Town Road – from a Suzuki ATV, plastic bags with a green leafy substance, six weapons, ammunition and plastic buckets.

The raid occurred about 9:32 a.m. Aug. 27 but the documents about it just became public.
