Holly Springs votes on school bond issue

By NEMS Daily Journal

HOLLY SPRINGS – Voters here will decide today not only who their mayor and aldermen will be for the next four years but whether to borrow as much as $10 million for a new intermediate school and improvements to existing campuses.
In addition to the new campus, the bond issue would be used to air condition the city district’s high school gym and to make other upgrades on that campus, at the primary school and at the junior high school.
To pass, the bond issue vote will have to be approved by at least 60 percent of those who vote.
