TUPELO – The city's new Housing Commission will have nine members – all Tupelo residents – who will operate under an ordinance and likely report directly to the City Council.
Key decision-makers Thursday carved the structure of the new entity, determining how the commission would function and to whom it would answer.
They left questions about its specific responsibilities unresolved; commission members themselves will determine their own duties later.
