HOUSTON – The Houston Board of Education took a step forward on construction and repair projects by hiring Pryor and Morrow as architects to draw up plans.
The firm will prepare blueprints and specifications for a new band hall, renovations to the high school commons area bathrooms and a new roof for the Vocational Center.
Board members and attorney Jimmy Hood agreed that the contract should specify that the architecture firm will be responsible for soil samples and site surveys to account for all potential costs of construction.
