Houston Solar race team wins again

DALLAS, Texas – The Houston Solar Race team headed to Dallas, Texas for the 2011 Solar Challenge with high hopes and expectations of success.
At the close of the race, they weren’t disappointed.
Both cars, Sundancer I and Sundancer II, placed first in their divisons and the team brought home two first-place overall trophies from the annual Solar Challenge – again.
The boy’s team and the Sundancer car competed in the Open division while the Houston Lady Racers and the Sundancer II car competed in the Classic division.
“We did it again,” Sponsor Donna Turman said. “I don’t know how we did it, but we did.”
