Hunter found after night lost in woods

PONTOTOC – Volunteers searched all throught the night Monday and into Tuesday morning trying to locate a man in the Algoma community after he didn’t return home from a hunt.
Law enforcement and volunteers turned out in full force shortly after dark and searched for 44-year-old Jimmy Gardner, concerned for his well-being because he is diabetic.
His four-wheeler was found in the woods some half an hour after searchers began looking for him. According to other news sources, Sheriff Neal Davis said Gardner was found shortly after 5 a.m. Tuesday, and appeared to be in good shape, but disoriented.
