FULTON – Itawamba Community College will host its annual softball camp on June 3-5 on the Fulton campus. The ages for this three-day event are from seven years old to a high school junior.
The purpose of this camp according to ICC head coach Chad Case, who program has made back to back post season appearances in his two years at the helm, is to teach the fundamentals of throwing, catching, hitting, base running and positional play. There will also be special team activities on Friday.
The cost, which includes a camp t-shirt and certificate, is only $65 if you pre-register and $75 for on-site registration

ICC baseball camp
The MACJC State Champion Itawamba Community College baseball program will again host two summer camp sessions. The day camp is set for June 8-12 with the overnight camp on June 14-18.
The day camp, which showcases an age seven to high school senior range, will teach the fundamentals of throwing, catching, hitting, base running, positional play and our always popular sliding day. There will also be special team activities and our camp skills contest on Friday. If you pre-register, it’s only $75, while on-site registration is $85. Every camper receives a camp t-shirt and booklet.
The overnight camp is for eight year olds to high school seniors and teaches the fundamentals, as well as team concepts and philosophies. Campers will have the opportunity to play games and will be exposed to other aspects of a college program such as practice, weight lifting and video work.
You can also be a day camper and attend the second session. The daily schedule will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with supper on Sunday and 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Mon.-Wed. and it includes a daily lunch along with a camp t-shirt and booklet for the pre-registration fee of $120 and on-site registration of $135.
The overnight camp, which also includes camp shirt, booklet/housing and daily meals, has a $200 pre-registration fee and an on-site registration of $215.
